SPECIFIC DEVICE SETUP
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Click the Apple icon and select “System Preferences”.
- Select “Network” and click “Wi-Fi”
- Under “Network Name” select “TurboBeacon####”
- Enter the passkey given on your instruction manual and click “Apply”
- Go to your browser and go to the Netflix/Other streaming application’s home page and log into your account to see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Click the “Start” button, then “Control Panel” and “Network and Internet Connections”
- Right click the “Wireless Network Connection” and select “Properties”
- Click the “Wireless Networks” tab and under “Available Networks” select “TurboBeacon####”
- Click “Configure” and enter the password provided on your instruction guide in the “Network Key” box and then again in “Confirm Network Key”
- Click “OK” to go back to the “Wireless Network Connection” window and then hit “OK” to close and go back to Control Panel. (This can now be closed.)
- You may need to restart your computer for some changes to update – once restarted then select your browser and go to Netflix/Other streaming application’s website and log into your account to see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Click “Start” button and then click “Connect To”
- This will bring up a list of available wireless networks in rage. Select “TurboBeacon####”
- You will be prompted for a Wireless Key, enter the password provided on your instruction guide.
- Select your internet browser and go to Netflix/Other streaming application’s website and log into your account to view your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- On the bottom right of your Task Bar, you will see a small wireless network icon. Click on this.
- This will open a window with “Available Networks” – please select “TurboBeacon####” and press “Connect”
- You will be prompted for a “Network Security Key” – enter the password provided on your instruction guide.
- When the wireless network icon shows solid white bars, this means you are connected. Go to your browser and log into your Netflix/Other streaming application account and you should be able to see your extended library of US content.

- If using a mouse: move the mouse to the top right or bottom right of the screen and select “Settings”. If using a tablet: Swipe left from the right side of the screen and select “Settings”
- Select the wireless icon, and on your “Wi-Fi Networks” list, select “TurboBeacon####” and click “Connect”
- Enter the wireless password that was provided on your instruction guide and click “Next” to connect.
- Windows will verify your connection – once you are connected load up your browser or use the Netflix/Other streaming application and you should be able to view your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Click the “Network” icon at the bottom right of the system tray – select “TurboBeacon####”
- Click “Connect” and enter the wireless password provided on your instruction guide.
- Click “Next” to connect to the wireless – Windows will verify your connection.
- Once you are connected, load up your browser or use the Netflix/Other streaming application and you should be able to view your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Power your Playstation and select your user profile.
- Go to “Settings” and select “Network”
- Select “Set up an internet connection” and select “Use Wi-Fi”.
- When asked “How do you want to set up the internet connection?’ select “Easy”
Select “TurboBeacon####” as the Wi-Fi network, and enter your unique password on your instruction guide provided. - The Playstation device will then show “Internet Settings Updated” and ask if you would like to “Test Internet Connection” – this is helpful to show that your connection is stable and working.
- Once the test is complete, hit Circle to go Back and go to your Netflix/Other streaming application. Your extended library of US content should now be available
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Go to “Settings” panel on your device and select “Network” under Console.
- Select “Set up wireless network” and choose “TurboBeacon####” as your Wi-Fi connection and enter your unique password give on the instruction guide provided.
- This will automatically check your connection, and it should then say “It’s all good – Your console is connected to the internet”
- Go back to the home screen and select your Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Go to “Settings” and select “Network Settings” then select “Internet Connection Settings”
- Press X to enter at the pop up screen and select “Easy” as your setting method.
- This will then check network configuration for a few seconds, and will then ask you to select a connection method. You would then select “Wireless”
Select “Scan” to show the available networks and connect to the SSID “TurboBeacon####” - Select “WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK” as your WLAN Security Setting and enter your unique password given on your instruction guide and press “Start” button.
The information on the connection will then show, and you would press X to enter. You can then test your connection and once this is complete press O to go back to the main panel. - Go to your Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Go to “Settings” tab on the dashboard and select “System”.
- Choose “Network Connections” and search for “TurboBeacon####” Wi-Fi connection and enter the password provided on your instruction manual.
- This will then automatically test your connection, and when completed select “Continue”
- Go to your Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- From the “Wii Main Menu” press the “Wii” button in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
- Select “Wii Settings” and using the arrow, go to the next page and press “Internet”
- Choose “Connection Settings” and select “Connection 2: None”
- Click “Wireless Connection” and search for an Access Point and press “OK”
- Select the wireless network “TurboBeacon####” and enter the password provided on your instruction manual.
- Press “Ok” then “Save Settings” and “Yes”. This will now run a connectivity test for the network.
- You will then be prompted to continue with a System Update – this would give you the most up to date applications on your Wii.
- Go to your Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Follow these instructions in order to connect manually:
- Power on your Wii console and press the A Button on the Wii Remote to reach the Wii main menu. Use the Wii Remote to select the “Wii” button.
- Select “Wii Settings” to access the “Wii System Settings” menu.
- Using the arrow on the right side of the screen, scroll to page two and select “Internet.”
- Select “Connection Settings.”
- Select “Connection 2: None.”
- Select “Wireless Connection.”
- Select “Manual Setup.”
- Enter the network name in “SSID” field (Please note that your TurboBeacon network is case sensitive) then click the right arrow
- Select “WPA2-PSK (AES)” and enter your TurboBeacon password (this is case sensitive also) and click the right arrow.
- On the “Auto-Obtain IP Address” screen select “Yes” and On the screen for “Auto-Obtain DNS,” choose “Yes”
- On “Proxy Server” select “No” and “MTU Value” is going to be “0”

- From the “Vita Home Screen” tap “Settings”
- Select “Start” and then “Network”
- Choose “Wi-Fi Settings” and select the wireless network “TurboBeacon####”
- Enter the password provided with your instruction manual.
- Go to your Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Tap “Settings” and then tap “Wi-Fi” and allow the network list to find nearby networks.
- Under “Choose a Network” select “TurboBeacon####” and enter the password provided on your instruction guide.
- Once your device has connected, the top left of your device would show your cellular network and the Wi-Fi symbol as solid white with 3 bars.
- Once this has successfully connected, open the Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Tap “Apps” in the upper right hand corner of device.
- Locate “Settings” from the applications list and tap, follow by “Wireless & Networks”.
- Select “Wi-Fi Settings” and select “TurboBeacon####” as the wireless access point.
- You will be prompted for a password, this is the password provided on your instruction guide.
- Once connected, load your Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Power your AppleTV box and go to “Settings” and then “General”
- Scroll down to “Network” and select the Wi-Fi network “TurboBeacon####”
- Enter your unique password given on your instruction guide.
- Your screen will show “Connecting” while it loads the information.
- Once you are connected to the Wi-Fi network your device will show “Connection Succeeded” and you would click “Done”.
- You will need to change the region of your Apple TV. Go to “Settings” then “iTunes Store” and change “Location” to “United States”
- Once the region has been changed, restart your Apple TV device.
- Select the Netflix/Other streaming application and you should now see your extended library of US content.
Clear DNS codes from TurboFlix!
- Press “Settings” on your remote control.
- Go to “Network” and select “Network Connection”
- Choose your connection method – in order to use TurboBeacon you will need to have a wireless dongle attached to the connection in your TV, but to change the DNS please select your home Wi-Fi device.
- Select “Other Network List” when it shows Network is Connected.
- Scroll down to “DNS mode” and make sure your DNS is set to “Auto” – this will make sure you are set to a local DNS
- Click “Ok” and you will then connect your TV to the internet. Restart your TV before trying the connection to TurboBeacon
To connect to your “TurboBeacon####” wireless please do the following:
- Press “Settings” on the remote and go to “Network”
- Choose “Network Connection” and choose the Wireless method of connection.
- Select from your wireless list your “TurboBeacon####” wireless provided on the instruction guide and enter the password.
- Press “Complete” once connected. This may require a restart to your TV once again to refresh the settings. What you can also do at this time is restart your TurboBeacon.
- Once your TV has loaded back up, you can then try entering Netflix to view your extended content.
Change the region settings for LG Smart TV:
- Go to Settings
- Open Options
- Select Smart TV Settings
- Under Change country for Premium and LG Smart World select Manual
- Your list of countries may vary, but by selecting “USA” or “US” this would allow access to other applications.
- Click Close
- You can now open the app on your TV
Changing region settings in Settings:
- Press the Menu button
- Go to “Settings”
- Press “Time”
- Select “Set Time Manually”
- Set your Time Zone to “Eastern”, “Central” or “Pacific”, which should set to USA
Connect to the Wi-Fi:
Follow the instruction guide provided with your TurboBeacon in order to use.
- Go to Settings.
- Once in settings, go to Network.
- From Network, select Set up new Wi-Fi connection
- You will then be able to see the available wireless networks. If you are unable to see TurboBeacon wireless, simply select Scan Again.
- Select TurboBeacon wireless which corresponds to your instruction guide, and then enter the password provided.
- Press Connect.
- Once connected, you would simply go back to your main area and select Netflix/Other streaming app to then view your extended content.
Sony Bravia TV
- Press the Home button on your remote.
- Select Settings -> Setup -> Network -> Network Setup
- Select Setup Network Connection
- Choose Auto
- Select Wireless LAN
- Choose No – This will scan for nearby wireless connections
- A list will appear. Find and select the TurboBeacon#### connection (as written on your TurboBeacon instruction guide)
- You will be prompted to enter the Key, this is your password. Please type in the TurboBeacon password provided with your instruction guide. This is case sensitive. Press Enter.
- It will then connect to the Wifi network.
- A message should then appear saying your TV has successfully connected.
- Quit Internet setup by hitting Enter.
- You will be brought back to the Network Settings menu. Scroll down to Refresh Internet Content. Hit Enter. It will load, then say Internet Content Ready.
To test TurboBeacon, press your Home button on the remote -> Applications -> Netflix.
Search for Parks and Recreation and New Girl. If you can find and play these titles, TurboBeacon is now working.
Follow the instructions provided in order to connect;
- Press Menu on the TV remote.
- Select Setup from the menu screen and press OK on the remote.
- Select Installation and press OK on the remote.
- Select Network and press Ok on the remote.
- Select Network setting assistant and press OK on the remote.
- Select Start Now and press OK on the remote.
- Select Wireless and press OK on the remote
- Select Scan and press OK on the remote.
- The TV will now search for all nearby wireless networks.
- A list of the nearby wireless networks is shown on the TV.
- Select your wireless network and press OK. (Turbobeacon### as seen on your Guide)
- Next selct Manual to enter your wireless password and press OK on the remote.
- Use the TV remote to enter your password and then select OK. (Located on your Instruction Guide)
Note: The passwords are case sensitive. - If the password is correct you will see Status: Pass.
- From the Home screen, select Settings > System > Wi-Fi. Your Amazon Fire TV device automatically detects nearby Wi-Fi networks that broadcast their network name.
- Under Available Networks, select the ‘Turbobeacon###’ network (as shows on your instruction guide) and enter the network password provided, using the onscreen keyboard.
Note: If you don’t see your desired network, scroll down and select Join Other Network or Rescan. - After you connect to a wireless network, press the Home button to display the Home screen.
Change Region:
To change your country settings:
- Go to the Settings tab in ‘Manage Your Content and Device’.
- Under Country Settings select Change.
- Enter your new address.
- Choose a supported country for Amazon Fire TV and then select Update.
- In the notification that appears, select learn more and then select Transfer your Kindle account to.
- On your Fire TV device, go to Home > Settings > My Account. Select Deregister. Return to My Account and select Register. You can now use your Amazon Fire TV in the supported country.
Use the following instruction to set up Google Chromecast:
- Download the app that you would use to cast your content to your TV.
- Plug your Chromecast device into the appropriate ports on your TV – HDMI and/or USB required.
- Once the app has downloaded, go into the app and go to your Settings or Setup menu and go through the Setup for Chromecast.
- This will allow you to firstly select your region – Please set this to United States.
- This will then show an alphanumeric code on your desired device and TV that you will cast to, ensure that the codes match and you will be able to continue.
- Go through the rest of the setup as normal, and when it comes to your Wi-Fi connection you would then choose your TurboBeacon network.
- Enter the password for your TurboBeacon and allow the connection to be made.
- You will now be able to cast your Netflix content onto your TV for access to US content.
To make sure the device is set to Auto DNS:
- Press “Setup” and go to “Player Settings”
- Scroll down to “Network” and select “Network Settings”
- Select “IP Address/DNS Settings”
- Scroll down to “DNS Auto Configuration ( DHCP )” and make sure it’s set to “ON” and save these settings.
Connect to TurboBeacon:
- Press “Setup” and go to “Player Settings”
- Scroll down to “Network” and select “Network Settings”
- Choose “LAN Connection Mode” on the list in Network Settings – set this to “Wireless”
- Press “Wireless Settings” and choose “Connection Setting” and then search for wireless networks. Once you see the “TurboBeacon####” wireless network, please choose that and enter your password when prompted for an “Encryption Key” and then hit “Set”.
- You can now return to your main menu and try the Netflix application.
Please follow these instructions:
- Press Home>Setup>Network Settings>Internet Settings and then press Enter.
- Start Setting screen:
-Press Enter to start.
-Select Wireless and press Enter.
-Select Access Point Scan and press Enter. - The player will detect nearby wireless networks and display the SSID (Network Name) and security settings. Select your network name (TurbobeaconXXX) and press Enter.
- Select the type of security you use and press Enter. The correct security should automatically be selected. You should not normally need to change the security.
- Press Enter to input your WPA key (WiFi password, provided on your TurboBeacon instruction guide).
Input your WPA key. When you are done select Finish and press Enter.
- You will be returned to the previous screen. Review your entry and press to continue.
- Select Auto Acquisition and press Enter.
- Select Auto on the DNS Setting Method screen and press Enter.
- Select Do not use on the Proxy Server screen and press Enter.
- The Networks Connection Diagnostics screen displays. Select Perform and press Enter.
- Press Enter when Network connections are correct appears.
- Press Enter when Settings are complete appears. WiFi setup is complete.
- Go to your Netflix app. Search for Parks and Recreation or New Girl. If you can find these titles, you now have access to US content.
- Power the player ON. The menu will display (if no DVD or Blu-Ray is inserted.)
- Using the Up/Down Arrow buttons, select Setting and press the OK button.
- Using the Up/Down Arrow buttons, select Network and press the OK button.
- Using the Right arrow button select Internet Connection and press the OK button.
- Using the Up/Down Arrow buttons, select Enable and press the OK button.
- Using the Down arrow button select Interface and press the OK button.
- Using the Up/Down Arrow buttons, select Wireless and press the OK button.
- You will be prompted that the current network will be cut-off. Select the Yes and press OK to continue to establish a new connection.
- Under Wireless Setting select Scan. Select Next at the bottom and press the OK button. The player will scan for wireless networks within range (“Scanning” will be displayed.)
- Select the desired network (TurbobeaconXXX) from the list using the Up/Down arrow buttons and press the OK button.
- Enter the security key (TurboBeacon password on your Instruction guide) when prompted by pressing the OK button and using the on-screen keyboard. When done select ENTER and press OK.
- The screen will return to displaying just the security key as “****”. Select Next and press OK. The player will attempt to connect to the network (“Waiting” will be displayed.)
- When connection to network is made, “Connection success and IP is obtained” will be displayed. Press OK.
- Exit out of settings and go to your Netflix App. Search for Parks and Recreation or New Girl. If you have these titles, TurboBeacon is now working.
- Press the Smart Home button on your remote. Navigate to the Settings press OK.
- Go to Network > Connection Setting, then press OK.
- Select Start to setup a Wireless Network.
- A list will appear showing all the nearby Wireless connection. Choose Turbobeacon### (as shown on your Instruction Guide) Press OK.
- Enter the Wifi password/Key that is provided on the back of your Instruction Guide. This is case sensitive. After, press OK.
- Your bluray player will attempt to connect. This can take a few minutes.
- A screen showing ‘Set an IP Address & DNS will appear. Simply press Next.
- Your connection will be finalized and ready to use. You can now go to your Internet or Streaming App and check out the US content!
- Go to Settings and select Network.
- Select Network Settings.
- You will be asked to choose a Network Type – choose Wireless.
- The player will now search for available networks in the area.
- Select the TurboBeacon network that matches your instruction card.
- Enter the password located on your instruction card when prompted and click Done.
- You will see on screen “You are connected to the internet” – click OK
- Go back to your home page, and you will now be able to access the Netflix application.
